Building flat roofs
Modified bitumen is the most common material for covering flat roofs. Roof covering materials that are made from bitumen consist of elastomeric or plastomeric substances that are elastic and in addition, coated with flagstones for a protection from the UV rays. This material can be attached to the roof in one, two or three layers. Single-layer roof coverings are with high physical characteristics, elastic and with a long life-span as well as possess a secure and guaranteed quality. Multi-layer roof coverage is achieved by placing multiple layers of single-layer material on top of one another. It is essential that the roof covering material provides a hydro isolation layer that can resist up to 1,0 kPa of water pressure.
